Hillsboro offers many different ministries for all age groups. Please visit a specific Hillsboro has a wide variety of ministries for people of all ages, life-stages, and interests. And new ministries are created as our people pursue their passions and exercise their own creativity for the Lord. Youth Ministry: Our youth group meets on Sunday mornings during the Bible study hour (9:00 a.m.) for Bible study and discussion, and they meet on Sunday evenings for a more relaxed fellowship and game time. The group also has regular recreational events, takes a summer mission trip or youth worship camp, and provides a place where Christian teens can build friendships and find encouragement, support, and fellowship.

Women's Ministry: Our Women's Ministry meets weekly for Bible studies (Wednesday nights), and sponsors monthly after-worship lunches for fellowship and ministry planning. The women also participate in special retreats and conferences, such as the Extraordinary Women's Conference, and the Beth Moore "Living Proof" conferences. The last one was held at Hillsboro. The plans for each month are listed in the 'Soul Food'newsletter.

Quilts and More for Missions: Beginners and experienced knitting and sewing enthusiasts gather monthly to learn new skills and to create pieces (blankets, scarves, hats, etc.) which are then given to people in need. This group has provided hundreds of items for underprivileged children, senior adults, and missionary organizations.

Children's Ministry: Our children have lots of opportunities for friends and fun in a setting that celebrates faith in Christ. Crafts, games, Bible stories . . . special trips to zoos, aquariums, museums, shows . . . Parents' Night Out gatherings. New friends are always welcome. And, of course, Hillsboro has the most amazing Vacation Bible School around! Our Sunday morning program begins with "Blast Off" at 9:00 - the exciting big-group beginning to the children's Bible study time. And we also have Children's Church during the worship hour - a special time of worship just for kids, while parents worship in the Sanctuary.

Choirs and Singing Groups: Our Adult Choir rehearses each Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and our Praise Team rehearses each Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Both groups help lead worship on Sundays at our 10:00 worship service. Solos, duets, and other small groups are also encouraged to sing.

Bible Study Groups: Hillsboro has Bible study groups for all ages on Sunday morning at 9:00. (These study topics for each class are often listed in our monthly newsletter.) We also offer seasonal short-term Bible studies that meet for 4-6 week, focusing on specific topics or Bible books. Our Women's ministry presents its own group of studies throughout the year. And, in worship, throughout the year we examine a constantly changing set of themes, examining what the Bible has to say in various aspects of our lives.
